Soles of the Damned

It's Batman vs. the Spook, in my dramatic reading of a scene from "Detective Comics" #435 (June-July, 1973). Thrill as the Dark Knight defeats the Ghost Who Walks (On the Ceiling) by... getting him to brag about his shoes? Then, brace yourselves for the twist ending!

Your productions seem to be getting more elaborate -- I love it! Viva Blockade Boy Theatre!

This is my first exposition to B-Boy Theatre, and not only I'm impressed....I'm sort of exited too. Jut imagine a threesome with Brucie and Spook. Hot!

Takes one to recognize another indeed...

Good thing I'm at home.

Great production, once again.

I don't know if I really buy your voice as Batman though. Couldn't you Adam West it up a little?

Bill S.: Thanks!

Gustavo: Whether it's electrified mesh or Astroglide, the Spook is one hard-to-hold bastard.

Jon: As the only one here who's actually met Batman, I think I have a pretty good idea of how he sounds. Also, harumph.

You have a harp in the corner of your room, don't you?

I loved your caption voice the best, and the harp-ish music actually made me laugh out loud (I had to apologize to the other person in the room). Brilliant all around.

Phillip: Guilty! And I've taught Cootie to play it (The size of it isn't a problem for her, seein' as how she can fly and all.)

Phil: Thanks! This was a little different from my other efforts, with most of the humor coming from the contrast of my "serious" performances as Batman and the Spook, and the goofball sound effects. Note: I tried out lots of voices for the Spook, and was stumped to find something both scary and funny. The raspy Spook voice also prevented me from doing a Kevin Conway raspy Batman voice (my first choice). Oh, well! I might do another romance comic story next.
