This Just In: Iron Man Screams Just Like a Capuchin Monkey

im41crumblingsoooo

Okay, so it's a cheap shot. I just like to imagine Iron Man saying "EEEEEEEEE!" Hell, I'd be screaming too, if I were him -- or savagely roaring or maybe just lowing like a gored bull, anyway -- because it looks like that falling debris busted most of the fingers on his left hand! Either that, or it was redrawn at the last minute by Steve Ditko.

It's brilliant how, while it looks to all the world as if Tony is shrieking like a little girl because he's been slammed by a meteor (wait a second--YJC didn't switch stories on us, did he?), he's thinking a manly "UNGGH!" With splash lines, or whatever that punctuation is supposed to be.

He tries to be all cool and debonair, but like the man said, "sometimes...you fail." Miserably, as it turns out.

The suits probably running out of power as well, right?

Hey, I got some costumes coming heading your way.

I heard he was part Capuchin monkey, on his mother's side.

I think the EEEEEEEE is the sound of falling rocks. I see rock in this picute and in the one below. And both pictures have EEEEEEEEE in them.

Also if you look at the Zabruder film, you will see EEEEEEE in the rocky knoll on the hill.

Kindof make you think.

My work vert was: kadio, which i assume is the Klan's radio

Anonymous: The *unngh!* and the pose make me suspect Tony might be a tad constipated, as well. Man, it's just one problem after another with this guy!

Jon: Running out of power? Hells yeah. It has been two whole panels after all!

Army of (Cl)one: Or maybe there's a college football game goin' on off-panel and the cheerleaders just shouted "Give me an 'E'!" ("EEEEEEEE!!!")

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Obviously guys, the rock has punctured the suit, which is letting out hair like a balloon.

Heh. And then Iron Man gets folded back up into a briefcase, maybe with his feet still sticking out and waddling around, like he's Yosemite Sam.
